Dear colorful cards in GLPS

 Dear GREEN CARD  Do you know the thing that everyone in this camp like? Food? Roommates? Yeah, you're right. But today, I want to talk to you, dear green card.
 I think I met you first at 15th GLPS. When I see you first, you were rectangle, very sharp and ugly(?). But after I recognized the real aspect of you the green card, I  always want to see you!

 Dear yellow card
  Are you friend with green card? If you are friend with green card, I think you are the gangster while green card is a kind person! Well, I did not have any trouble with you, but I feel bad about you when you have troubles with our friends.
 Please try to follow the personality of your friend, green card so you will have better relationship with other people. Oh! and change your such brightening color!

 Dear RED CARD
 WHO ARE YOU! You're the devil of the card world. I can actually forgive yellow card at least, but when I see you, I actually want to tear you off for the safety and fun of every students in this camp!
 I can forgive Yellow card because it's just 'warning', but I think you are punishing or even killing card!

Book Review-Time traveler

 Have you ever thought of traveling to other places like USA or other abroad countries? Maybe many of you guys have. But how about traveling throughout time? I mean, time traveling. Maybe you guys didn't think of time machine in the real world but in movies like Science Fiction movies. But, to make your imagination skill to be better, today I would like to tell you the story 'Time Traveler'. Have you ever read that book before? Maybe not, because this book was limited edition(haha). So now I will tell you what the book is about.

 The main character of the book is a high school student(the book actually didn't mention about his name). And as the story ends, he becomes the professor. This student's father was very healthy until the really important event happens; the father died without any proper reasons. He(I mean, the student) suddenly shocked by the sudden death of his father. Then, he felt something very strange. In his view, nothing changes after father's death. The time, stopped since his father died only to him. And later he recognized it, but he couldn't do anything because he was just a little high school student. After a year, he listens to lecture of the professor about Einstein's theory of relativity(E = mc²), which made him really interested in it. Later he masters all of those difficult theories, and he finally thought of making a time machine, and finished making it.

 He goes to the past in order to save his father, but his father in the past already knew that his son tires to help him, but he only wanted his son to live a happy life. So, father persuaded his son and the son accepted his persuasion. And when he went back to the real world, he felt something strange because the time was going so fast that he could not control himself. And he becomes adult, and live happily. 

 This was very impressive story for me because I also sometimes think of making a time machine when I have an emergency situation. So I thought that I should follow the destiny that I have, no greed!

The strange adventure with the strange time machine

I was very nervous. I can’t believe it I’m still alive. I can’t classify whether this is the actuality or not. Although I can see my family and dudes, I wander it’s true or not. I didn’t believe God, I didn’t pray for God. Before, that happened………………………

My name is Harry. I am sixteen years old and I’m the ninth grade in John’s international school. Our school is terrible except that mountain where I climb everyday. There are some places to ban to enter. Our ware house, the edge of the playground and the entrance of that mountain is the place which not allowed to enter. Also, Every Saturday, the men who wear the clothes for protecting from the radioactivity inspect those places. Anyway, I don’t care about it, after the bell ring, I run to the mountain. Unfortunately, It’s raining. Although this bad condition, my plan to go to mountain isn’t won’t be changed. When I went to the mountain, It was still raining. I was walking on the woods when suddenly, I found something. It was the millions of foot prints. I followed it and there was a house. The house was covered by iron, and just one door wasn’t. I approached carefully and there was some sounds. It was dialogue with someone. I saw the window and I could see the military uniform through it. I heard the conversation and listened to it very carefully. Rach Sand, the marine said “Because of you we suck on this place about 5 years! I want to get out. Because of that moment you pressed the button. I said don’t press it! Because of that I think we have sucked this house! Damn!!!!!” Sop Mac, the captain of marine said “Hey guys be quiet! Calm down! Let’s think about it. Let’s think about this ball first. How can we use this ball? It has four blanks to put the number and the button!” Alex Ram, the marine said “Just dumps it throws away through that window!” I got that ball. It had the button and four blanks to put the numbers. At that moment, Rach said “If we can go back to 2015, we can stop this horrible situation.” Then I put 2015 and press the button. And then everything was disappeared. There was a big wind and a piece of paper covers my face. I read that paper and the paper said ‘ The real winners never shakes hands although they win’ As soon as I read the paper, I was in some forests. There was no house and I heard some sound of machine. I looked around and I can find the soldiers. I don’t know who are they and I can realize they are the soldiers who were talking in the house by listening the voices. Also, there was an enormous basement where there was a lot of tanks and have the missile silo. Rach said “ Our mission is destroy this basement. We don’t have enough amounts of dynamites. How can we ruin this?” “ Don’t worry about it. I’m the captain of marine. I’m sop Mac. There is one nuclear missile so, we can explode the silo and because of the explosion of the nuclear missile all basements will be destroyed, even this forests and that town.” “Sir! I’m Alex Ram although my level is lower than you, I think it’s not good because it can damage to the general people. “It doesn’t matter. We are the soldiers. We have to accomplish our duty, although there are some scapegoats.“ “ But, captain Sop Mac! Our duty and the essence of this mission is to protect our nations and people. It can violate this!” “Shut up! We have to remove it immediately, and then we have to consider the safety. It isn’t related these people, but also for the mankind! I suggest you don’t complain this mission!” “Yes Sir!” And then they rushed forward to the base. I followed them because of this mission could make them to have a bad situation . I don’t know how to enter that base, but I got the paper again. And It said “Time waits for no one!” And there was a sound like an alarm clock. I realized I have to stop them as fast as possible, but I wondered what does the first paper mean? I think It means ‘Don’t be abstracted!’ I went to the missile silo. There were a lot of soldiers’ dead bodies. And I could see they were setting up the something. They were hacking the nuclear missile. And the alarm sounded “ 5 minutes left to lunch. And they closed the entrance of the missile. I think they tried to explode the missile! I went to them and shouted “No! Listen me You will repent it! Stop it! They didn’t reply. I think they couldn’t hear my voice. I threw the time machine to the captain. And captain caught the time machine and he said “ Oh my god! I saw it in my dream. Hey guys! Did you see that?” “ Hmmm… Oh I saw it in my dream yesterday!” “ Me too !” “ And somebody said stop it! General! I think we have to stop it!” “Look! There is a kid! I saw him in my dream! He said stop it unless we will repent!” “No! It’s just a dream. We are the soldiers although we can all die we have to perform our mission! This is the real soldier!” “ Sir everybody except you agree to stop it! Listen to me carefully, We entered this base without any risks. Do we need to destroy it? Just conquer this place by calling the army to reinforce us!” “Hmmm, Actually I doubt of that part. Ok Everyone!  Do you believe me? Let’s conquer this place and Let’s get the glorious victory!” “Yes sir! Go!!!!!!” The alarm sound was stopped and also launching the missile was canceled. After approximately 1 hour¸ the base was conquered without any army to reinforce them! They all were survived. And There was a wind and I got a piece of paper. It said “Yesterday is the history, Future is the mystery and Present I the present.” I think I have to go back to the actuality. As soon as read that paper There were the soldiers and the black hole. The soldiers said me “Thank you very much And I appreciate your kindness and Really Thank you to save our life. I thank you for the general, for the captain of the U.S marine and for the representative of our solidarity. Hold my hand. We will take you the greatest place.” As soon as I heard his talk, There was a wind and I got the paper and It said “The real thing is also in the darkness.” When I tried to shake and hold his hand, Something was remembered and I didn’t shake and hold his hand and I got to the black hole! The real winners never shake their hands although they win. The real thing is also in the darkness.

 After I entered the hole I was in the mountain where I was in. I don’t know this is the real or not. I hope this is the real and I am confident It’s the real.

An ode to Korean soldiers died during the Korean war

  Oh! Soldiers died in the Korean war!
 You did your best job for your country
 Thanks to your effort for the country
 I am studying here, no problems with the security
 An ode to Korean soldiers.

 How dare of the war!
 Why do we have to kill those innocent people because of the war!
 We are the same human beings!
 So many people are dying because of the greedy minds of upperclass people.
 How poor of victims!

 Oh god! Help these soldiers! Please make them happy!
 Please help them to have a sweet dinner with their families!
 If not, please erase the memory of war in their brains!
 How dare of the war to kill these innocent soldiers!
 An ode to soldiers

 Generals! You were the heroes of the war! You only thought of  the safety of our valuable country without fears of the war! Thanks for your effort for South Korea.

Narrative Essay: My Unforgetable day in GLPS 15th

Well, the thing what I want to talk to you today is my memorial event in past 15^th GLPS. I was in class 12, which was the regular class( Unlike this 16^th GLPS, there was just two kinds of classes, regular and intensive classes, but now we have levels 1,2,3. ). I was the captain of the class, so I think this memorial event could happen. The event was the speech contest, which made me to come to GLPS again. This contest was the biggest competition that I have ever joined before. Going to a competition or a contest always makes me feel nervous. But sometimes, it makes me feel proud of myself. That may be because I try really hard on all of the contests. I would like to go back to that day, when the speech contest was held.

 The speech contest was held at the third week of Saturday of 15^th GLPS. At first, I wasn’t actually interested about the speech contest. But my advisor(Mr. Tkachuk) suggested me to go to the speech contest because there were no one who wanted to participate in the speech contest and I was the captain of the class. However, I had no idea about the topic of my speech, so I thought of ‘computer games’ because I’ve given prize for the speech contest in my school with this topic. I did my best for preparing the speech. Mr. Tkachuk helped me to get the first prize in the speech contest. Anyway, I would like to tell you what happened that time. While I was preparing for my speech contest, I had many troubles, so I sometimes thought of quitting it, but my self-esteem didn’t allow me to do that. I was 4^th person who presents their speeches, and those times flied like an arrow. I go up to the stage and started my speech strongly. My voice was pretty loud and clear. Especially I tried my best to look confident to judges or other people while presenting my speech. And I think judges gave me advantages for being confident. Actually, the representatives of each classes didn’t look that confident, so I used their weaknesses. I finished my presentation, and I felt something very lucky. Now all I need to do was to listen to other’s presentations and wait for the result of the speech.

 The result of speech contest later revealed at the closing ceremony, in January 28^th, when was the highlight day of GLPS because we had many parties. The real surprising thing was that I won the ‘FIRST’ place in the speech contest. When my name was called as the first place, I thought my patience finally overcame the ordeal. Not only winning the first place in the speech contest, I also got the model student award. That day must be the unforgettable day ever in my life. I want to go back to that time. This is the reason why I think I need the time machine, and why scientists should hurry up!

Argumentative essay: Is television beneficial or poisonous?

These days there are two machines that almost every houses have: computer and television. Do you know the average time of watching TV for people a day? Maybe you don't. The average time that people watch TV in one day is about 80 minutes. That is, almost everybody watches television about 1 hour and 20 minutes a day. However, as television emerged, several problems were followed as the television developed.

 But because there are too many bad aspects of television, I think television is a troublemaker of these days. I have four following reasons to support my opinion.
 First of all, people who support TV say that watching television is a pleasant way for families to spend time together. However, I don't think so. There are a lot of other meaningful ways to spend time with our family, such as reading a book in the library or going out to eat or take a walk.. Also, while watching TV, we don't talk a lot with our family. For example, my father loves watching baseball games on TV. While watching it, he doesn't say a lot. This is because you only concentrate on the content of the channel you're watching.
 Second, our mind and behavior become strange. It is also not good for your health( I will tell you about the health problem later). When you watch TV too much, you may suffer with depressive disorder, which can cause you even die. In addition, you will have a kind of hallucination symptoms, like you still see the TV monitor even though you're not. Moreover, people who watch television a lot will have passive behavior and you'll not adapt to the society. So, we can say that television may spoil your whole life.
 Third, TV is really addictive, which can harm your health. As you know, there are so many TV channels that you can even watch TV in a whole day! Furthermore, since video games are grafted into TV, we started to use TV as the game player. Many scientists and researchers warn playing those video games and watching TV too much because these can cause you a lot of diseases, such as obesity or diabetes. Do you want to suffer from these terrible diseases? Of course you're not. So, it is desperately needed for you to control your TV watching time as you control your computer game time. But the problem is that already many kids are addicted to TVs as they are addicted to computer games.
 Lastly, television is completely waste of money and time like computers do. As I told you before, average time that people watch TV in one day is 80 minutes. You spend almost 1.3 hour of the whole day on watching TV. Also, you pay lots of money for TV, right? For your better understanding, let me give you an example. Let's say that you bought a new television, which is 1000 dollars. And you had nothing else to do, so you watched it a lot, which costed 50 dollars. In addition, you need to pay the taxes for TV(the electronic tax), so you paid 10 dollars. That means you spent 1060 dollars, which is changed into 1,122,328 won in one month. TV takes your a lot of money from your pocket..
 Actually, I don't mean that we should not watch TV, but the real thing I want to talk about is that you need to control your television watching time.
 Many people say that as the technology develops, we need to control ourselves. Everyone wants to achieve their dreams, and your self-control ability determines whether you will achieve your dream or not. For your better future, why don't you turn your television off right now?
